Day 1

Start of your Safari from Nairobi

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and transport you to Wilson Airport for your domestic flight. It’s advisable to report 45 minutes to an hour before your 09:15 am flight to Masai Mara, with an approximate flying time of 1 hour.

Upon landing at the Masai Mara airstrip, our designated Driver-guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your overnight lodge. The safari vehicle, a robust 4×4 such as a Land Cruiser or Land Rover, will ensure a comfortable journey. Your chosen lodge, renowned for its breathtaking views of the Mara reserve, awaits.

If you arrive in the morning, indulge in a delicious lunch at the lodge and take advantage of leisure time on the property. In the late afternoon, around 3:30 pm, embark on your first Safari game drive, exploring the diverse landscapes of the Mara and witnessing its extraordinary wildlife. Please note that the safari vehicle may accommodate other guests from the lodge.

Return to the lodge by evening, typically between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm, just in time for a delightful dinner.

Day 2

Enjoy Full day in Masai Mara

Today’s adventure includes two exhilarating game drives, optimizing the prime wildlife-viewing moments. The morning game drive, scheduled from 6:15 am to 9:00 am, takes place before breakfast. Experience the thrill of encountering active wildlife during the early hours of the day.

After a fulfilling lunch, indulge in the second game drive of the day during the late afternoon, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. This timing ensures you witness the fascinating behaviors of animals as they become more active again. Early mornings and late afternoons are recognized as optimal periods for spotting wildlife in their natural habitat.

Return to the lodge in the evening for a delightful dinner and another peaceful overnight stay at Keekorok Lodge in Masai Mara.

Day 3

Enjoy Full day in Masai Mara

Embark on a full day of exploration and cultural immersion in the enchanting Masai Mara. Begin with an early morning game drive before breakfast, capitalizing on the heightened activity of wildlife during this time. Witness the abundant game in their natural element, creating unforgettable moments.

Return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast, setting the tone for a day filled with diverse experiences. Consider scheduling a visit to a nearby Maasai Village with the Lodge Manager—an enriching one-hour excursion offering a captivating glimpse into the daily life of the renowned Kenyan Maasai tribe. Marvel at their distinctive mud dwellings, the Manyatta huts, and gain a deeper understanding of their nomadic lifestyle. (Note: Additional activities, such as the Maasai village visit, may incur extra costs.)

Afterward, return to the lodge for a satisfying lunch. In the afternoon, venture into the reserve for another safari, capturing the beauty and wonders of Masai Mara. Come back to the lodge by evening, typically between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm, for a relaxed evening followed by a delightful dinner.

Retire for the night and enjoy another restful overnight stay at Keekorok Lodge in Masai Mara.

Day 4

Return to Nairobi

As your time in Masai Mara concludes, begin the day with a leisurely breakfast, followed by check-out from the lodge. Subsequently, you will be seamlessly transferred to the nearby airstrip for your 10:30 am flight back to Nairobi.

Upon your arrival in Nairobi, our dedicated Driver-guide will be ready and waiting for you at Wilson Airport. You have the option of being transferred either to your hotel or directly to the International airport for your departure. If you harbor an interest in exploring some of Nairobi’s attractions, kindly inform us in advance, and we can incorporate these activities into the schedule at an additional cost. This tailored experience can be accommodated before your final drop-off at the airport for your return international flight.

Masai Mara Entry Fee: A fee of USD 210 for a 3-night stay in Masai Mara is not included and must be paid upon arrival.
