Start your day with a hearty breakfast prepared by your accommodation, gearing up for a once-in-a-lifetime experience – gorilla tracking. Report to the gorilla tracking starting point for a brief orientation before venturing into the mystical Impenetrable Forest with your packed lunch in tow.

Embark on an awe-inspiring journey through the dense forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. The duration of the trek may vary, lasting anywhere from 45 minutes to 5 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families on that particular day. Once you’ve encountered these magnificent creatures, you’ll have a full hour to observe, photograph, and immerse yourself in the unique experience of interacting with the gorillas.

After the encounter, return to your accommodation. If you happen to return early, delight in cultural dances performed by the local community, adding a touch of authenticity to your day. Relax at your lodge, reflecting on the profound connection with these incredible primates.

After a delightful lunch, prepare for a 2-hour boat trip on Lake Mburo. This tranquil experience allows you to search for crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, water birds, and other fascinating creatures that inhabit the lake. The boat trip provides a different perspective of the park, showcasing its diverse aquatic life.

Transfer to Kampala.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on the final leg of your journey back to Entebbe. Although it’s a long journey, the memories of your incredible Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Tour will undoubtedly make it worthwhile.

Enroute, take a fascinating stop at Kayabwe, known as the equator village. Here, you’ll stand at the point where the Earth is divided into the northern and southern hemispheres, marked by the latitude 00 on the world map. Capture the moment with photos and enjoy the unique experience of straddling two hemispheres simultaneously.

Following the equator stop, continue your journey to Entebbe, where you’ll be transferred to the airport or your chosen hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure.
