Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park.
Start your day with an early breakfast before being transferred to the park headquarters. Here, you will receive a comprehensive briefing and be grouped for the highly anticipated Gorilla trekking expedition. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides and guards, set off into the mist-shrouded and tangled forests, with trackers assisting in locating the gorillas by identifying their nests from the previous night.
The journey to find these majestic animals leads you through dense, untamed rainforest, and while it may be challenging at times, the encounter is undoubtedly worth the effort. Gorilla tracking duration varies, taking on average 3 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the animals. Once located, spend an unforgettable hour observing, photographing, and immersing yourself in the world of the gorillas as they feed, play, and groom each other.
The experienced ranger guides will generously share insights into the history and lifestyle of the gorillas, making this encounter a truly enriching experience. After the trek, exit Bwindi Forest and return to your accommodation to rest.
