The day’s final drive leads you through the picturesque Ngorongoro Highlands to the crater rim. Pause for sundowners, enjoying the mesmerizing sight of the Ngorongoro Crater below and listening to the varied sounds of wildlife.

The approximate drive time from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Crater is 4 hours, covering a distance of 190.5 km.

Relax and recharge at Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw Tented Camp, where dinner awaits, followed by a restful overnight stay with bed and meals provided, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Anticipate the adventures that lie ahead in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 3

NGORONGORO CRATER – EMPAKAI CRATER

Day 4

EMPAKAAI CRATER – ACACIA CAMPSITE

This day’s adventure encompasses a 7-hour walking safari covering 18 km, guided by Maasai and an armed ranger, offering an immersive experience into the captivating landscapes.

Day 5

ACACIA CAMP – LAKE NATRON

Embark on the final leg of your hiking adventure, presented with two options: a shorter route or a more challenging, longer trek along the rift wall. Marvel at the spectacular views, with the prominent Oldoinyo Lengai active volcano dominating the foreground. Day 6

LAKE NATRON

Amidst the day, venture to the nearby Niagara Sero gorge, accessible through various hiking options. Choose between longer hikes to the source or shorter strolls leading to enchanting waterfalls. Indulge in dinner and unwind for the night at Lake Natron Special Campsite. Your accommodations encompass bed and meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Day 7

LAKE NATRON – ARUSHA

Cap off your adventure with a hearty breakfast, and for those seeking additional activities, Lake Natron offers various options to savor before your departure. Enjoy picnic lunches to keep you well-nourished as you head towards your final destination.

Embark on a scenic drive back to Arusha, approximately a 4-hour journey covering 136 km. For those with later flights, consider the option of a day room in Arusha to relax and freshen up.
