Program Description:

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our Ways African guide will warmly welcome you at the arrival point with a signboard displaying your names. From there, we will drive to Arusha for your accommodation. Gather at the hotel for a pre-safari briefing, setting the stage for an exciting adventure ahead.

Day 1

Local People Visit Datoga and Hadzabe Tribe

Embark on a captivating journey to Lake Eyasi, an ideal destination for cultural enthusiasts. Day 1 of our adventure focuses on exploring the unique traditions of the Hadzabe indigenous tribe, renowned for their distinctive way of life as hunters and gatherers. Engage in cultural exchanges, witness traditional hunting practices, and gain insights into their lifestyle, particularly their expertise in gathering honey and hunting insects in the bush.

Day 2

Lake Natron

Start your day with a hearty breakfast as we embark on an exhilarating journey to Lake Natron, a secluded haven off the beaten path, away from the bustling crowds. Our route takes us through the cultural heartland of the Maasai, offering a glimpse into their unique way of life.

En route, we pass Engaruka, an archaeological site showcasing Stone-age settlements, and catch sight of the majestic Ondonyo Lengai mountain—the only active volcanic mountain in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Natron awaits, presenting a mesmerizing display of colors ranging from pink and lime to green and red, attributed to the concentration of minerals and the presence of flamingoes.

Day 3

Full day in Lake Natron

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

Embark on an exciting adventure after breakfast as we make our way to the renowned Serengeti National Park, passing through Klein’s Gate. In the afternoon, we pause for a relaxing lunch break at the Serengeti National Park gate, fueling up for an afternoon filled with thrilling game viewing.

Explore the vast plains, interrupted only by stands of acacia trees and occasional kopjes. If your visit falls in December, January, or February, you might witness the spectacular migration, characterized by large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Throughout the year, resident animals such as giraffes, buffalo, and elephants grace the landscape, alongside formidable predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

The day’s adventure culminates with a return to the central Serengeti, where a specially set up tented camp awaits. Unwind in the heart of nature, surrounded by the sounds of the wild, as you enjoy a delicious dinner at Tanzania Bush Camp. Day 5

Game drive at Serengeti National Park

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

As the sun rises, enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a scenic journey to Ngorongoro Crater. Traverse the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands, ultimately reaching the rim of the crater, where an extraordinary adventure awaits.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, renowned as one of the most densely populated game areas globally, harboring nearly 40,000 animals. This unique ecosystem offers a remarkable opportunity to encounter the renowned big five: lion, leopard, rare black rhino, buffalo, and elephants.
