Where You’ll Visit
Ngorongoro Crater
Often referred to as the Eden of Africa, the Ngorongoro Crater is a wildlife haven with the highest concentration of animals per square kilometer in the world. Within its 21-kilometer radius, this natural wonder offers an unparalleled opportunity to witness an abundance of wildlife thriving in their natural, untamed habitat.
The crater is home to the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—and with a bit of luck, you may spot all of them during your visit. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a designated biosphere reserve, Ngorongoro Crater is also Tanzania’s first geopark, showcasing its ecological significance and breathtaking beauty. The crater floor is perfectly explored in a single day, making it an essential stop on your two-day safari.
Tarangire National Park
While often overshadowed by the iconic Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park stands out as one of Tanzania’s best-kept secrets. Famous for its large herds of elephants, the park also boasts stunning landscapes dotted with majestic baobab trees, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your wildlife adventure.
In addition to elephants, Tarangire is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and a rich birdlife, offering a vibrant safari experience. Its serene atmosphere and distinct charm make it a perfect complement to the bustling activity of the Ngorongoro Crater.
