Day Arrival: Kilimanjaro Airport – Moshi – Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our transfer driver will be waiting for you. He will take you to the Tulia Hotel in Arusha, where the rest of the day is at leisure. You might want to explore the town (taxi required) or just relax at the lodge. In the evening you will be briefed by our team on site in preparation of the upcoming trekking tour. Day 1

Arusha- Tarangire National Park

  • Distance: 120 km
  • Non-game viewing drive: 2 – 3 hrs.

Morning: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

  1. Breakfast at Your Lodge in Arusha:
    • Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, fueling up for the exciting day ahead.
  2. Pick-up from Lodge:
    • After breakfast, our team will pick you up from your lodge in Arusha.
  3. Drive to Tarangire National Park:
    • Depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its impressive elephant population and iconic baobab trees.
    • The drive offers views of Arusha town, providing an opportunity for any last-minute purchases.
  4. Wildlife Exploration in Tarangire National Park:
    • Upon entering the park, embark on a game drive to explore the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife.
    • Look out for the park’s inhabitants, including elephants, wildebeest, zebra, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and more.
    • Learn about the ecosystem dynamics and the movement of ungulates around Tarangire Lake Manyara.
  5. Lunch Inside the Park:
    • Enjoy a packed lunch within the park, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the possibility of wildlife sightings.
  6. Bird Watching:
    • Tarangire National Park is a haven for bird enthusiasts, boasting over 400 bird species. Keep an eye out for ostriches, herons, cori bustards, secretary birds, and numerous aquatic birds.
  7. Migombani Campsite Near Lake Manyara:
    • Later in the day, proceed to Migombani Campsite, situated close to Lake Manyara, for an overnight stay.
    • The campsite offers a tranquil setting and a chance to connect with the natural surroundings.
  8. Dinner at Campsite:
    • Enjoy a delicious dinner at the campsite, surrounded by the sounds of the African night.
Day 2

Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

**Day 2: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha**

– **Distance:** 220 km
– **Non-game viewing time:** 2 – 2:30 hrs.

**Morning: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater**

1. **Early Breakfast:**
– Enjoy an early breakfast at the campsite, preparing for the day’s journey.

2. **Depart for Ngorongoro Crater:**
– Leave Tarangire and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and wildlife sanctuary.

3. **Descend into the Crater:**
– Descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an exceptional game drive.
– Marvel at the breathtaking landscapes and the incredible concentration of wildlife in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

4. **Wildlife Encounter in Ngorongoro Crater:**
– Witness the diverse wildlife that calls the crater home, including herds of wildebeest, buffalo, eland, zebra, warthog, hippo, African elephant, and the rare black rhino.
– Keep a lookout for predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and the elusive leopard.

5. **Visit Lake Magadi:**
– Explore Lake Magadi, the alkaline lake located on the southwest corner of the crater. It attracts flamingos, hippos, and various aquatic birds.

**Afternoon: Return to Arusha**

7. **Late Afternoon Drive to Arusha:**
