Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe airport

Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, our dedicated guide will warmly welcome you and provide a comprehensive briefing. You will then be transferred to your accommodation in either Kampala or Entebbe. The travel time is approximately 45 minutes, subject to the traffic conditions in Kampala.

Day 2

Arusha – Transfer to Murchison Falls

Meet your guide for a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, with an exciting stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a unique rhino tracking experience. Accompanied by an expert guide, you’ll have the opportunity to track rhinos on foot, maintaining a safe distance. This sanctuary is the exclusive location in Uganda where you can witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Lunch will be enjoyed on the way, and by the afternoon, we’ll reach Murchison Falls National Park. Check in and proceed to the River Nile for a captivating boat trip. During this excursion, anticipate sightings of diverse aquatic birds, hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, warthogs, and antelopes. The highlight of the boat trip is witnessing the breathtaking Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile cascades over 45 meters, creating a spectacular natural wonder. Keep an eye out for the constant rainbow gracing the top of the falls throughout the day.

After this exhilarating experience, head to the lodge for evening accommodation.

Day 3

Tarangire –Full day Game drive

Start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on an exciting adventure. Cross the River Nile on a ferry and engage in a morning game drive, seeking out the early risers in the diverse wildlife of Murchison Falls National Park. Spend the majority of the day immersed in the beauty of the park, exploring its landscapes and observing a variety of animals.

Anticipate sightings of elephants, giraffes, warthogs, numerous antelope species, and a plethora of bird species. As the day unfolds, return to your lodge in the evening to unwind and relax.

Transfer to Fort Portal

Rise early for a hearty breakfast as we embark on a scenic journey to Fort Portal town. Along the way, enjoy a delightful lunch, with an estimated arrival in the evening. As the day concludes, you have the option to explore the fascinating Amabere Caves and the enchanting crater lakes.

Day 5

After a satisfying breakfast, our journey continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Experience the thrill of a game drive upon arrival, immersing yourself in the diverse wildlife of the park. Following the game drive, check in at your lodge before venturing to Katwe Salt Lake. Gain insights into the traditional salt extraction process and witness the local production of salt for consumption and sale. Continue to Lake Munyanyange, renowned for its vast flocks of flamingo birds.

Next, head to Mweya Peninsula for a delightful lunch before embarking on a boat trip along the scenic Kazinga Channel. Witness a spectacular display of animals quenching their thirst along the shores, featuring crocodiles, warthogs, baboons, buffalos, elephants, and various antelope species. The Kazinga Channel is celebrated as Africa’s premier birding destination, offering sightings of pelicans, African fish eagles, herons, egrets, cormorants, and more. This boat trip is sure to be a highlight of your 10-day Uganda safari.

Day 6

Once you encounter these fascinating apes, spend an hour observing their natural behaviors before returning to your lodge.

In the evening, embark on a thrilling game drive through the Kasenyi sector, renowned as a mating ground for antelopes, making it an ideal location to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas. Continue the journey to Lake George, where you’ll visit a local fishing village, gaining insights into the traditional fishing lifestyle. Finally, head back to your lodge for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 7

Transfer to Ishasha

Day 8

Transfer to Bwindi

Start the day with a nourishing breakfast, followed by a morning game drive around the captivating Ishasha sector. Take in the unique landscapes and wildlife, and perhaps, catch another glimpse of the renowned tree-climbing lions.

Later in the day, proceed to Bwindi Forest, a sanctuary that harbors more than half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. This lush forest is also home to a myriad of bird species and the elusive three-horned chameleon. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy some free time. You have the option to partake in a village walk to immerse yourself in the local culture or be entertained by a cultural performance at your lodge.

Day 9

Gorilla tracking

Indulge in a hearty breakfast prepared by your accommodation before embarking on an unforgettable adventure into the heart of the Impenetrable Forest. Equipped with a packed lunch, venture into the forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. The trek may vary from 45 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family that day.

Once you encounter these magnificent creatures, you’ll have a full hour to observe and interact with them. The experience of looking into the eyes of the gentle mountain gorilla is likely to be etched in your memory, making this a highlight of your 10-day Uganda safari. These primates are not only powerful but also among the most muscular on Earth.

After this awe-inspiring encounter, return to your lodge to unwind and retreat from the day’s activities.

Day 10

Transfer to Kampala

After a satisfying breakfast, commence the final leg of your journey with a drive to Entebbe. Enjoy lunch along the way and make a memorable stop at the Equator village in Kayabwe. Capture souvenir-worthy moments at this latitude (00) and take pictures to commemorate your safari adventure.

The approximate travel time to Entebbe is around 9 hours. Bid farewell to the scenic landscapes and wildlife as you head back to the starting point of your journey. Meals included are breakfast and supper. Accommodation for the night is not included, as this day marks the conclusion of your 10-day Uganda safari.
